Karl Reed

Ministry Associate

Karl joined the team in 2019. He has been married to his incredible wife Jessica since 2004 and they live with their 5 children in Columbia, SC. Karl grew up in rural West Michigan but moved to South Carolina to complete his undergraduate degree in Theology at Columbia International University. He enjoys anything athletic and competitive, from basketball to Bocce ball, from ultimate frisbee to a rousing game of Spades (because no one in the south knows how to play Euchre). Family is everything to Karl. He loves spending his time whooping up on his kids playing basketball in the driveway, wrestling with all the kiddos on the floor, or getting as far away from them as possible to have a quiet date night with his beautiful bride.

Karl Reed Family Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for Evelyn (17) as she prepares to take the SAT on March 9th. Also for continued wisdom and guidance from God as she decides on next steps toward college.

  • Please continue to pray for Gods grace and protection in the lives of our children as they face the challenges and pressures of our culture. Pray that they would be lights to all of their friends and classmates around them.

  • Please continue to pray that Jessica and I would keep our hearts tethered to Jesus, relying fully on His presence and power in our lives and in our family. Pray for wisdom, unity, patience, and grace as we parent our kids.

  • Please pray for Karl, that his heart would remain soft and responsive to God, overflowing with authentic love and care for the men of Columbia, for the glory of God!
